Flame Resistant!
We recommend our flame-resistant closed cell polyurethane foam insulation on the band board and a rigid foam insulation on the masonry or concrete walls in lieu fiberglass as the foam further encapsulates potential mold growth and prohibits nesting of insects and other pests.
We recommend our durable drainage board to be installed across the crawlspace floor as a water shield that prohibits water from puddling on the vapor barrier from condensation and protects the vapor barrier from tearing on the general. It is easier on knees and hands than gravel.

The EPA-registered product can be deployed prior to the insulation or vapor barrier to control mold spore proliferation, and can be applied on restored surfaces for ongoing mold protection. It contains zero VOCs, making it the ideal solution for restoration contractors with customers who are chemically-sensitive.

Our vapor barrier is a class one high grade vapor barrier made of two sheets of high strength polyethylene film laminated together. Inside there is a heavy duty diamond shaped network of scrim (string) for reinforcement which greatly enhances tear resistance and increases service life. The white outer layer contains UV inhibitors and is flame resistant to reduce crawl space fire hazards, vapors, and condensation.
We recommend our fiber reinforced flame-resistant vapor barrier to be installed from the wood joists down the wall and across the crawlspace floor with seams sealed with lap adhesive and tape.
